Robert Alexy, one of Germany's most renowned legal philosophers, recently turned 80. To celebrate this special occasion, Carsten Bäcker, Martin Borowski, and Jan-Reinard Sieckmann published an edited volume with contributions related to Alexy's impressive scholarly work. Professor Klatt, who completed his doctorate under Alexy's supervision, was honoured to contribute with a chapter on misconceptions about legal non-positivism. In his contribution, he discusses popular allegations and refutes them, thereby offering a powerful defence of non-positivism.
